What is the meaning of baptism?
Why be baptized by immersion?
Who should be baptized? Every person who has believed in Christ [Acts 2:41; 8:12-13] hen should I be baptized? As soon as you have believed. The sooner the better [Acts 2:41; 8:35-38] What if I was baptized as an infant/child, should I be baptized again?
What if I was baptized by sprinkling or pouring…should I be baptized? We encourage people to be baptized by immersion as described in the Bible (see question 3) and require this for church membership. When should I let my children be baptized? When you are convinced that they have a genuine faith in Christ and can understand what they are doing. This is a judgment call by the parents (Please pick up a Children’s Baptism Workbook from the church office to work through with your child if you they may be ready). |
